Rome Statute   Did not sign the Rome Statute. The government adopted a Human Rights Action Plan in 2004 stating they would accede by 2008. Although this deadline has passed, the government has maintained that they are committed to moving forward with the process. Under Indonesian law, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights must submit to Parliament an academic paper setting out the reasons for ratification as well as the ratification bill itself. National and international members have consistenly pressed the government to promptly transmit these instruments to Parliament so that Indonesia may accede to the Statute.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities Indonesia has not acceded to the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement Has not signed a BIA with the United States.
Implementing Legislation Law #26 from 2000 includes 2 crimes under the ICC's jurisdiction: genocide and crimes against humanity; same law created a human rights court that would prosecute crimes of such nature.
