Rome Statute   Timor Leste acceded to the Rome Statute on 6 September 2002, becoming the 79th State Party.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities Timor Leste has not acceded to the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement Signed August 23, 2002. Approved by the Council of Ministers in October 2003.
Implementing Legislation On 30 March 2009, President Jose Ramos-Horta promulgated Decree-Law 19/2009, the new Penal Code for Timor-Leste. This law contains 323 articles, and will take effect 60 days after its publication in the Jornal da Republica on 8 April. http://www.mj.gov.tl/jornal/?mod=artigo&id=1044.

The adopted version includes a very detailed section implementing genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes based on the definitions in the Portuguese legislation implementing the Rome Statute.
