Rome Statute   Mexico signed the Rome Statute on 7 September 2000 and ratified on 28 October 2005, becoming the 100th State Party.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities Mexico deposited its instrument of accession to the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities of the Court (APIC) on 27 September 2007.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement Publicly rejected BIA agreement.
Implementing Legislation At the end of 2006, the executive presented an ICC cooperation bill to the Senate. The cooperation bill is currently in the Committee of Justice within the Lower House of Congress (Cámara de Diputados).The bill was submitted by the Senate on 15 December 2009 (was approved in Senate with a 77% favourable vote)and will be included in the agenda of the Lower House of Congress during the second semester of 2010.

In relation to legislation on crimes, at the beginning of 2008 MP Omeheira Lopez presented an initiative to incorporate various provisions implementing the crimes under the RS into the Federal Criminal Code, the Code of Military Justice, the Federal Criminal Procedural Code and the General Health Law. Mexico is currently in the process of reviewing the Federal Criminal Code for the purpose of implementation of the Rome Statute. During the Review Conference, Mexico pledged to present an amendment bill in the first trimester of 2011, in order to achieve this goal.
